Work is progressing on the OrbiCraft - Zorkiy

The OrbiCraft - Zorkiy satellite is a new development of the SPUTNIX company, a modern ultra-compact satellite for the Earth remote sensing, created on the basis of the cubesat platform SXC6 (OrbiCraft-Pro 6U).
The mission of the same name is to launch a spacecraft into a sun-synchronous orbit and deploy a ground segment for its operation and data acquisition. To implement the mission, the spacecraft is equipped with a professional telescope camera with a high-precision resolution - up to 6.6 meters per pixel from an altitude of 550 km, which puts it at a very high world level.

In the spring of 2020, the development of design documentation for the satellite was completed, and the engineering model has already been tested. Currently, the model is being actively tested at the company's test benches, a complete set is being formed for the flight model, which will be ready by the end of the year and launched in the spring of 2021 by Glavkosmos Launch Services on the Soyuz-2.1 launch vehicle.
Data, including remote sensing data, received from the spacecraft will be open, which will allow radio amateurs and students around the world to receive and use them. The development of the satellite platform and remote sensing camera is co-financed by the Foundation For Assistance To Small Innovative Enterprises (Bortnik Foundation).
