Anniversary of the 'Tabletsat-Aurora' launch

On the calendar, June 19, which means that exactly 6 years ago that day, the TabletSat-Aurora spacecraft was launched from the Yasny launch base in the Southern Ural into low Earth orbit, thereby becoming the first Russian private remote sensing satellite. TabletSat-Aurora is a spacecraft created by SPUTNIX in just eight months on the basis of the scalable microsatellite platform TabletSat.

The platform was developed by the company with grant support from the Skolkovo Foundation. An ERS camera was installed on the satellite, on-board systems were tasted in flight, and technological experiments were conducted. The weight of the satellite was 26 kg.
