Independent high precision measurements system is designed to verify the work of attitude determination and control system. The system is available to determine attitude and angular velocity of a microsatellite mockup independently from attitude determination and control system by analyzing video data of special markers orientation.
The system includes at least 4 cameras and at least 16 different markers that are evenly distributed over the test object, and their position relative to the coordinate system of the layout should be known.
