On-board control unit (OBCU) provides:
- collection and processing of information from on-board devices and payloads
- implementation of orientation and stabilization algorithms
- telemetry formation
OBCU consists of two half-sets, each of which is controlled by its own microcontroller. Tasks of both microcontrollers can be distributed among themselves. The hardware of the both half-sets is identical.
OBCU is developed by SPUTNIX specialists based on many years of experience in ADCS systems designing. This device is made as part of an ideology about the unity of hardware and software solutions of the company's product line. As a result, it allows you to effectively use it with third-party on-board systems, as well as providing the fastest possible hardware and software integration into the spacecraft board with other SPUTNIX on-board systems.
Features:
- Two duplicated half-sets
- Small dimensions and mass
- Low consumption
- Has a protective conductive coating
