SPUTNIX and MITSUI will cooperate in the production and export of spacecraft components and small satellites

SPUTNIX and MITSUI AND CO. MOSCOW LLC (“MITSUI”) signed a joint memorandum of understanding under which the partners will cooperate in the creation and export of small spacecraft subsystems and services based on them.

In particular, the partners agreed to cooperate in the joint development of a project to organize the production of high-tech components and technologies for small spacecraft, satellite platforms, the small satellites themselves, services based on them, as well as other related projects of SPUTNIX.

Within the framework of the cooperation, SPUTNIX will carry out the development and production of high-tech components and technologies for spacecraft, satellite platforms, small spacecraft, and will also ensure the improvement and development of applied technologies.

As part of this cooperation, MITSUI is considering the possibility of acquiring SPUTNIX products and services, and will also represent SPUTNX interests in Asia and the Middle East in cooperation with Japanese companies on its own, or through affiliates, to organize sales of SPUTNIX products and services. In addition, MITSUI will provide cooperation in the field of services to launch CubeSat-format nanosatellites from the International Space Station into orbit.
