System of three pairs of square coils mutually orthogonal to each other (Helmholtz cage) simulates the magnetic field as it changes during the orbital flight the satellite. Coils’ maximum dimensions are 2m, 1,9m, and 1.8m.

By inducing current in coil’s wires the magnetic field is created and its direction and value depend on the amperage
